The purpose of this study is to discuss the drawing ability required in interior design, and the fact that the cultivation of interior designers rely on school education and career experience. Therefore, drawing ability required in interior design is further explored and discussed from school courses and professional ability in the industry. The questionnaire survey method is applied on employees to explore the opnion of employees. In this study, the following is perceived:
1. regarding the cultivation of interior design drawing abilities, there is a difference between school education and the needs of the industry; the required drawing credits take up an average of 12% of the graduation credits; there are drawing courses in every school, including drawing, presentation, working drawing, and computer aided drawing.
2. Interior design professionals believe: (1) the drawing integrity used in the current industry is insufficient, and the completion of drawings are significantly related to working hours and quality, (2) the ability to understand drawings is considered as one of the most important professional abilities, (3) due to the common use of computers today, the industry places relatively low importance on hand drawing abilities, (4) the most needed drawing abilities for the industry are "concept of space" and "working drawings", and (5) the most suitable 2D computer aided software for the interior design industry is AutoCAD, and the most suitable 3D software are 3DSmax, Sketch Up and AutoCAD 3D, respectively.

A. Interior Design I. INTRODUCTION The human-centered concept of interior design probes into the physiological and psychological needs of human beings and, and targets at living behaviors to carry out sequential space plauning. Interior design is also a behavior based on rational science, and its form of expression is based on perceptual esthetics. The purpose of interior design is to aspire after a comfortable, healthy and safe living environment.
B. Interior Designer Interior designers are required to have educational training, working experience and creativity. C. Interior Design Employees Interior design employees, i.e. people who work in the interior design industry, include cartographers, designers, supervIsor engineers, professional managers and business operators.
D. Drawing (Graphic Science) Drawing (Graphic science) uses lines, numbers and symbols to express the science of shapes, positions, size and interrelations of dots, lines, surfaces or objects. Graphic science, also commonly known as the language of drawing, is commonly used in the engineering industry [1].
Graphic science consists of 3 major parts: Descriptive Geometry (which includes Perspective and Shadows), Engineering Drawing and Graphical Solutions [2].
E. Interior Design Drawing Interior design drawing is a means of interaction of conceptualizing, developing, presenting and communicating interior design works, which include the rules and presentation techniques required."Interior Design Drawing" in general includes drawing, sketching, drafting, freehand drawing, presentation drawing, working drawing, and computer graphic systems etc. The drawing design of interior design projects is the main method to express the idea, therefore designers are required to draw iunovative designs to express his or her design concept. The structures of interior design drawing courses are formed from (1) drawing basis, (2) engineering design and (3) communication presentation [3 J.
F. Drawing Ability "Competency refers to the knowledge, ability, attitude, experience, important value and comprehension ability that interior designers are required to have; it also refers to the knowledge, ability and attitude required to successfully execute a certain task and achieve a certain standard."[4J Drawing ability refers to the drawing abilities required in design work, which includes transforming a design idea into drawings and concretizing drawing imaginations.
